Certifications play a significant role in today’s construction industry. As a recognized industry tool, certifications provide an independent evaluation to ensure an individual has the education, experience and knowledge to succeed.

The IMPACT AISC Certification Program assists members in pursuing certification through the AISC Steel Erector and Fabricator Certification Programs.

The STSC® (Safety Trained Supervisor - Construction) is offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) which is a third-party organization that develops and administers a variety of safety certifications. This certification is appropriate for anyone who has the responsibility to supervise working conditions and employees on the jobsite.

The NCI training is something IMPACT reimburses for. Contractors can send individuals to NCI’s scheduled classes or a limited number of classes at a local or contractors facility can be set up.


PCI Certification

The IMPACT Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) certification program makes a one-time certification payment of $2,500 per company if an IMPACT partner contractor obtains their PCI certification or needs a recertification and provides a copy of their certification and proof of payment to IMPACT..


TWIC-1Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®)

The Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) requires the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®) for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. IMPACT reimburses the $128 non-refundable application fee for ironworker members.
