Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust

Expanding Job Opportunities for Ironworkers and their Contractors

  • The 2017 Iron Workers/IMPACT Conference
  • Thank You For Making Our Industry Event A Success!

Grants are the vehicle by which IMPACT member contributions are put to good use. Grants fund a wide variety of programs nationwide including marketing and recruitment, training and safety and tools to increase market share.

IMPACT Regional Advisory Boards (RABs) are funded through block grants at the beginning of each year based on 20% of the total member contributions IMPACT receives from each region in the previous calendar year.

Requests for all grant monies are submitted to the presiding RAB Executive Committee of that region and approved by majority vote.

Certain expenditures are strictly prohibited under the IMPACT not-for-profit exemption status or under IMPACT guidelines. These include expenditures funding market recovery programs and contributions to local, state and federal political candidates or political parties either directly or indirectly.

Lobbying expenditures are strictly for issues affecting the ironworking industry and must be issued to the firm performing the service.

The following members may submit grants for review:

  • District Council Presidents
  • Ironworker Business Managers
  • Ironworker Contractor Primary Contacts
  • Signatory Contractor Association Primary Contacts
