Iron Workers autographed the last steel beam on a paint shop at the GM Flint Assembly and topped it off with the traditional evergreen tree.
“They don’t really know the origins, but, it’s to celebrate reaching the highest point of the building. It’s to celebrate no loss of life,” said Pat Bell, Midwest Steel project manager.
