The BCSP's STSC® certification offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) will be funded for members and signatory contractor management personnel through IMPACT only under the following conditions:
- Project contract requirements - Project authorities (owners or general contractors) stipulate the STSC as a contract requirement.
- Verification of STSC requirement - A copy of the project safety contract specifications requiring the STSC must be submitted to Joseph Hunt III prior to authorizing any reimbursement costs associated with obtaining the STSC.
- Reimbursement of STSC fees - Ironworker members and signatory contractor management personnel pursing the STSC to comply with project contract safety requirements are eligible for reimbursement under the following conditions.
a. For contractor personnel (who are NOT members of any other union/trade), you must currently be employed by an ironworker signatory contractor and have a letter from your employer verifying your employment status. [NOTE: Hold on to this letter and submit it when you seek reimbursement]
