Training

For training to be effective, quality training materials are a necessity. IMPACT and the Ironworker Apprenticeship and Training Department work to produce training programs and materials designed to meet key industry needs, support Local Union apprenticeship programs, supplement training beyond initial qualifications and maintain, upgrade and update skills.

Foreman training is designed to help develop the necessary skills to serve as the primary link between employer and union, the Ironworker foremen.

Green Construction training provides a comprehensive guide to the Ironworkers’ role in the “green” construction workforce.
