“I think that anyone who attended this conference would have to admit that very honest, and straightforward labor-management dialogue was the driving theme of the conference… And in times such as these, that is exactly what people are looking for in their leaders. What the Ironworkers have clearly set forth is that “activities” should not be mistaken for “results”. The more labor (and management) leaders who embrace this approach, the more market share will directly result.”

The Marketing the Ironworkers course is designed to harness the brainpower, manpower and passion of Business Managers by giving them the skills to "sell" superior ironworker training and workmanship to customers, non-union contractors and signatory contractors through more effective relationship-building and marketing techniques.
The IMPACT course consists of a full eight-hour session outlining specific techniques Ironworkers should use to market themselves. Designed specifically for Business Managers, the course includes valuable information on branding, marketing basics, maintaing working relationships and creating marketing plans. Local unions can use the tools they learn in the course to build a positive ironworker brand by meeting one-on-one with non-union construction contractors, as well as existing signatory contractor partners.
