“I think that anyone who attended this conference would have to admit that very honest, and straightforward labor-management dialogue was the driving theme of the conference… And in times such as these, that is exactly what people are looking for in their leaders. What the Ironworkers have clearly set forth is that “activities” should not be mistaken for “results”. The more labor (and management) leaders who embrace this approach, the more market share will directly result.”

IMPACT membership consists of union Ironworker District Councils, Local Unions, Signatory Contractor Associations and Signatory Contractors across the United States and Canada divided into eleven geographic regions.
Ironworker District Councils represent large geographic areas which include the jurisdiction of multiple Local Unions. Local Unions encompass a smaller geographic area whose jurisdiction includes multiple counties or provinces. Signatory Contractor Associations represent a larger collective group of individual signatory contractors in the same geographic region and serve as the conduit through which IMPACT communicates with those contractors. Signatory contractors are the companies that employ the union Ironworkers who represent the membership of a Local Union.
IMPACT membership represents a workforce that is well trained, drug free and professional providing the best quality and value available in the construction industry.
