Safety Trained Supervisor Construction Prep Course: This 7-hour course will help prepare ironworkers and contractor management personnel to take the STSC® examination. The course instructor will review key safety topics, such as hazard communications, confined spaces, Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Code of Ethics, hearing conservation, PPE, and more, with an emphasis on how the supervisor should address safety on the jobsite. Practice exam questions will be reviewed and time will be devoted to discussing test-taking strategies. The BCSP STSC® examination will be administered following the prep course.
You are strongly encouraged to access the Self-Study Materials, Videos, and How-To Guides to prepare for the application process, training course, and/or the STSC® examination. You should spend 10 hours engaged in self-study before attending the STSC® Training Course in order to maximize your chances of successfully passing the STSC® examination.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT:
(1) Contact the instructor, Greg Christiansen (firstname.lastname@example.org; (206) 244-2993), to register for the prep course
(2) With the guidance of Greg Christiansen, complete an on-line exam application and submit it to the BCSP
(3) Receive two e-mails from the BCSP indicating that you are (1) approved and (2) authorized to sit for the exam
THE DEADLINE FOR COMPLETING THESE THREE STEPS IS OCTOBER 3, 2016
